DAY 10–LAST SEA DAY

Day 10 was the last sea day of this cruise and the last time we lost an hour of sleep.  The time changes are wreaking havoc on our body clocks.  We woke up.  We chatted with people.  We ate.  Nothing all that new to share.  We did join 3 other people for dinner in the dining room.  One a retired, widowed documentary film maker from Canada.  The other 2 were a couple from Detroit.  Somehow, these 3 kept turning the discussion to politics, which is pretty much taboo on vacation with people you don’t know.  We were out of there before dessert was served.  The people were nice enough, but we can only smile and change the subject so many times before it ceases to be fun.  On our way out of the dining room, we ran into other friends and sat and chatted with them until their appetizers arrived.  Then it was back to the cabin to get a decent night’s sleep before our 8:30 am excursion to Alacazar in Seville, Spain.
