DAY 7–SIXTH CONSECUTIVE FULL SEA DAY

Day 7, our 6th  consecutive full sea day started out slowly.  The sun was shining but we slept through 9 am pickleball and slept through breakfast as well. We are now operating 4 hours earlier than Apollo Beach time. Our body clocks are adjusting, but slowly.

We decided that today needed to be slow day all the way through because we want to be ready to hit the ground running in port tomorrow.  We did a leisurely lunch and met Rudy and Debbie from Houston.  Rudy is retired from his full time gig but heads a high school referee crew in Texas and has even worked the down box in a Super Bowl in Houston!  We enjoyed their company and then found a quiet place to read until Happy Hour.

Met up with Shari and Dave for cocktails.  Then it was off to dinner and back to the cabin to read some more.  No bar hopping tonight! I am reading Mel Brooks’ autobiography now.  Keeping it light while on vacation. Next stop, Ponta Delgada in the Azores!

We are almost to the Azores!
